Dear Elvera, sincere sympathy to you & your family. It has been many years since we have been in contact. The last time seeing your mother was maybe at my wedding shower at Warren's...a few years ago...Strange how Marlene and myself had just talked about you and our friendship starting through youth at The Church of God.Praying for God to be your comfort as you lay your mother to rest...Lynette Friesen Penner - Posted by: Lynette Friesen Penner (Friend of Elvera) on: Feb 14, 2013

She had a large influence on my spiritual life & I want to thank for that today. When she was young & first began to work, she was employed for housekeeping duties by a couple who invited her to go along to church with them. God worked in her life & she gladly wanted to share her experience with her family. As a result, I was introduced to her Savior. I am confident that today she is in His company & I'm happy for her in that way. - Posted by: Nettie Schultz (sister) on: Feb 13, 2013

I think of Helen often. I have a beautiful framed cross stich she did of a cat sleeping in a bird feeder with the red Cardinals looking in. It's framed and hangs beside the kitchen window. I live in the country and it fits in beautifully with what I actually see outside. Thank you Helen for this gift of remembrance. - Posted by: Dawn Schultz (Grand Daughter of Oscar Schultz) on: Feb 11, 2013
