Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryPIERRE DELAQUIS Peacefully at the Notre Dame Hospital on Saturday, February 9, 2013, Mr. Pierre Delaquis of Notre Dame de Lourdes, Manitoba passed away at the age of 89 years. He is survived by eight children, Claudette (Norbert) Bérard, Joseph (Lucienne), Gisèle Delaquis, Jacques (Priscille), Martin Delaquis, Huguette (Don) Van DenBussche, Lucille (Denis) Hague and Rosanne (Guy) Labossiere; one son-in-law Zamid Khan; 28 grandchildren, 49 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. He also leaves to mourn three brothers, Dr. Roger (Marie), Guy (Evelyne) and Msgr Noël; one brother-in-law Donat Lesage and one sister-in-law Renée Delaquis, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his beloved wife Thérèse (née Lesage) in 1998; one daughter Charlotte Khan in 2002; one grandson Martin Lacroix in 2001; two brothers, Dr. Hubert (Marie-Jeanne) and Raymond; and by three sisters Madeleine (Henri) Vuignier, Cécile and Denise Lesage. Prayers were held at Adam's Funeral Home on Monday, February 11, 2013 at 7:30 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated in the Notre Dame Roman Catholic Church, (today) Tuesday, February 12, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. with Msgr Noël Delaquis, Father Léon Mubikayi and Father Armand Le Gal officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a charity of choice. Adam's Funeral Home of Notre Dame de Lourdes, Manitoba in care of arrangements.
