THERESE BAZIN (née MARCHAND) Peacefully on February 9, 2013 our beloved Mother, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother Mme Thérèse Bazin (née Marchand) passed away at the Foyer Notre Dame de Lourdes, MB. She is survived by her children: Cecile Nakoneshny, Maurice (élise), Gilles (Jackie), Paul (Aline) and son-in-law Georges Druwé; grandchildren: Patrick (Kristy), Chantal (Gavin), Eric (Erika), Tania, Stéphane, Nadine (Alain), Kristen (Devon), Danielle (James), Cayla (Devin) and Marcel; great-grandchildren: Bradley, Kyra-Mae, Taya, Kayleigh, Skyler, Pierre, Joel, Matieu, Tyler and Haley, as well as her sister-in-law Mrs. Hélène Marchand in France and numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Thérèse was predeceased by her husband Marcel, her daughter Simone Druwé, son-in-law Don Nakoneshny and her parents, brothers, sisters and in-laws. Maman was involved in numerous community organizations and committees. She had an inquisitive mind, a quick wit, a very precise and remarkable vocabulary and a great sense of humour. She enjoyed reading, gardening, knitting and watching curling on T.V. She had a great devotion to the Virgin Mary. To the Doctors and the Foyer Staff, the family is very grateful for your dedication and compassionate care given to our mother. Funeral Services will be held in the Notre Dame Roman Catholic Church on Friday, February 15, 2013. Recitation of the Rosary at 1:30 p.m., Funeral Mass at 2:00 p.m. followed by Interment in the Parish Cemetery with Father Léon Mubikayi and Msgr Roger Bazin officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Notre Dame Health Foundation (Notre Dame Hospital), P.O. Box 190, Notre Dame de Lourdes, MB R0G 1M0.
