GERMAINE (GERRY) ROSSET (nee CAREL) With great sadness, we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend Germaine Gerry Rosset, on Monday, February 18, 2013, at the age of 95. She will be sadly missed by her two children, Raymond (Kristie) and Carol (Anette), her two granddaughters, Heather (Robbie) Theodore and Kelley (Devin) Wilde and two great-grandchildren, Blaine and Brooklyn Theodore. Left to cherish her memory are her sister Odette Bazin, sister-in-law Aline Carel as well as many special nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Mom was predeceased by her loving husband of 51 years, Arthur Art in 1999; her parents Jean-Louis and Mathurine Carel, her sisters, Louise Rey, Adrienne Bernard, Madeleine Martin and her brother Louis Carel, as well as her in-laws, Henri, Eugenie and Irene Rosset. Gerry and Art built their home in Fort Garry where they raised their family and where Gerry resided until she returned to her home town of St. Claude, MB, six years ago. Funeral Services will be held in the St. Claude Roman Catholic Church on Thursday, February 21, 2013. Prayers, eulogy and video tribute at 1:30 p.m. followed by celebration of Funeral Mass at 2:00 p.m. The family would like to thank the staff at the St. Claude Pavilion and Mom's companion Celine Gauthier for the years of care and comfort they provided Mom and the support they gave to us.
