Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMATTEO DI GIOIA February 21, 1941 - February 13, 2013 Surrounded by his loving family, Matteo passed away at Health Sciences Centre age 71 years. He leaves to mourn his passing his beloved wife of 43 years, Matilda; children, Paola (Carlos) Vieira, Franco Di Gioia (Erika Longo), Manny Di Gioia (Sheryl Lucko), Maria (Scott) Grant, Anna-Lisa Di Gioia (Helder Teves); grandchildren, Alessia, Erin, Stefan, Mikalah, Cristian, Lukas, Sophia, and Tayah. Matteo was a simple man who enjoyed fishing, soccer and sitting out on the front step. Mass of the Resurrection will be held on Thursday, February 21, 2012, at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church, 510 River Ave. Viewing will be held one hour prior to Mass. Reverend Father Sam Argenziano celebrant. Entombment will follow the Mass at Holy Angel Mausoleum - Green Acres Memorial Gardens #1Hwy. E. at Navin Rd. The family appreciates your consideration and acts of kindness at this time and due to the Lenten season, flowers are gratefully declined, donations may be made to CancerCare Manitoba in Matteo's memory.
