STEPHEN FILIPOWICZ June 4, 1922 - February 20, 2013 After a lengthy illness Stephen passed away peacefully at the St. Boniface Palliative Care Unit. Stephen was born in Ukraine in 1922 and immigrated to Canada in the 1950s. He worked for CP Rail for over 30 years. He is survived by his wife Vera, son Robert (Jo-Ann) and grandsons Kyle and Luke. Prayers will be sung 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 24 at Korban Funeral Chapel, 907 Main Street. Funeral Service will be held 10:00 a.m., Monday, February 25 also at the Chapel with interment to follow in Holy Family Cemetery.
