NOELLINE BERNARDIN It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Noelline Bernardin, who passed away peacefully on March 6, 2013. She will be forever in the hearts of her husband Laurent; their son Marc and his wife Karen; their son Philippe and his wife Jo-Anne and their children Matthew and Sara; as well as her sister Celine, brothers Cyrille, Raymond, Maurice and Louis, and their family members. Noelline was born on December 27, 1937 in St. Boniface. She started work in Elie at the Caisse Populaire in 1967 and worked tirelessly for the community for 40 years as a Loans Officer. During this time she made many life long friends because of her kind and helpful manner. Noelline was very active in the community. Whether it was organizing Fall Suppers or one of the many other events in Elie, she was always available to lend a helping hand. Later on she volunteered at the Elie Manor. Whether it was doing books, driving or general co-ordination, she was there. Recently Noelline was very proud and honoured to receive the Queen's Jubilee Medal for her dedication to the community. We will be celebrating Noelline's life on Monday, March 11, 2013 at 2.00 p.m. at the Blessed Sacrament Parish in Elie, Manitoba. Memorial service to follow at the Elie Veteran's Hall. If friends so desire, in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to CancerCare Manitoba, 675 McDermot Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3E 0V9. Adam's Funeral Home of Notre Dame de Lourdes, Manitoba in care of arrangements. Phone 248-2201 or 1-888-400-2326. www.afh.ca
