MICHELE PERILLO October 25, 1931 - March 14, 2013 Surrounded by his family and with heavy hearts we announce the unexpected passing of our Dad, Nonno and husband. He was predeceased by his son Francesco; parents, Rosa Maria and Francesco; sister, Antonietta; brothers, Gerardo, Antonio and Giuseppe. Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 56 years, Elisabetta; children, Luigi (Andrea) Perillo, Rosa (Dale) Jasper, Lucio Perillo, Gerardo (Roxanna) Perillo; grandchildren, Riley, Lorenzo, Selena, Vita, Jordan and Mikaela; sister, Vincenza Russo and many relatives and friends. Dad immigrated to Canada in July, 1956. He was a very hard worker and always wanted the best for his family. Upon his retirement from the City of Winnipeg., he spent time fishing, playing bocce and cards, and working around the house and garden. He lived life with great passion. Viewing will begin at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 19 at Holy Rosary Church, 510 River Ave. Mass of the Resurrection will be held at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Fr. Sam Argenziano officiating. Entombment will follow at Assumption Cemetery, Queen of Heaven Mausoleum, 3990 Portage Ave. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the St. Amant Foundation, 440 River Road, Winnipeg, Manitoba, R2M 3Z9.
