KENNETH CROSSMAN April 27, 1939 - March 15, 2013 It is with heavy hearts that the family of Ken Crossman, of East Gate Lodge, Beausejour, MB and formerly of Anola, MB, announce his passing on March 15, 2013 at the age of 73. Ken is survived by his sister Evelyn Baxter of Vancouver, and was predeceased by his parents Grace and Norman Crossman, and his siblings, Ethel, Ilene, Gerry, Bill, and Jackie. Uncle Ken was well known within the communities of Anola and Hazelridge, spending endless hours playing cribbage with his many friends at the Anola Senior Centre. In later years he moved to East Gate Lodge where Ken enjoyed many gatherings and celebrations. Ken had a gentle spirit, a warm sense of humour, and a smile that would melt your heart, he carried these traits to his final day. There will be a Celebration of Life held at Wheeler Funeral Home, Cemetery & Crematorium, 1800 Day St., Winnipeg, Saturday, March 23 at 10:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Sunnyside Cemetery, Birds Hill. Pallbearers will be his nephews, Gordon Holmes, Dennis Holmes, Dale Holmes, Rick Ross, Ron Law, and Brian Crossman. The family would like to thank the wonderful staff at East Gate Lodge for their exceptional love and care, each and everyone has made his final years perfect.
