ANASTASIA (NELLIE) JOHANNSON (née ANDRUSCHAK) Peacefully on March 18, 2013 in the Fisher Branch Personal Care Home our beloved Mother, Amma, Baba passed away at the age of 85, with her loving granddaughter Kendra by her side. She was predeceased by her loving husband of 54 years Helgi; her parents Martin and Maria; brothers Harry and Peter; sisters Pearl, Kay, Anna and Florence. Left to cherish her memory are her daughter Linda (Ken); sons Larry (Sheri), Grant (Angela); grandchildren Shelley, Crystal (Steven), Kimberley (Michael), Kendra (David), Waylon, Nikki (Dylan), Kelsey (Troy) and Trevor; great-grandchildren Cree-Anne, Keegan, Brooklyn, Kynan, Abby, Dainen, Ryder and Kali, along with many nephews, nieces and friends. Mom grew up and went to school in Finns, MB. She later met our Dad and fell in love and raised their three children on the east side of the river in Riverton, MB where they had a cozy little home. Mom enjoyed gardening, baking, and she always prepared amazing suppers at every special occasion. She enjoyed her Sunday drives with Dad for ice cream and going for picnics to the lake. She also accompanied Dad during the fishing seasons at their camp in Frog Bay and also made amazing suppers on the old wood burning stove there. Mom, Amma, Baba was truly a beautiful person with a heart of gold and her memory will warm our hearts forever and always. You are invited to celebrate her life with us on Wednesday, March 27, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. in the Riverton-Hnausa Lutheran Church. We would also like to thank her nephew Norman for all his time being mom's power of attorney since her time in the personal care home. She had much respect for you. Also we can't thank the staff at the Fisher Branch Care Home enough for all the wonderful care you gave her throughout the years. It was always a good feeling knowing she was in caring hands, from the bottom of our hearts THANK YOU!
