Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryCLARENCE ROBERT MOORE Clarence passed away peacefully on March 20, 2013, at the Red River Place Personal care home in Selkirk, MB, at the age of 93. He leaves to mourn his brother Lawrence and sister-in-law Agnes Moore of Matlock, Manitoba and many nieces and nephews. Clarence was born and raised in Matlock on November 4, 1919. He was in the Second World War where he served overseas. When he returned from the war he worked as a carpenter with the Hudson Bay Company for 13 years, where he built many stores for them. He then excelled as a self employed carpenter. He was predeceased by his parents Mabel and Peter Moore; brother Stanley and sister Barbara Hucul. Clarence was a quiet person who loved to play his violin and listen to music. He enjoyed watching hockey games and reading. He had a love for cats and took in many strays. Clarence always had a big smile and a cup of coffee for family when they came to visit. Cremation has taken place and there will be no funeral service. The family would like to thank the staff at Red River Place Personal Care home for their care and compassion. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
