Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJANET MCKINNON NORTH July 18, 1921 - March 24, 2013 With heavy hearts we announce the peaceful passing of mom, nanny, grandnanny, sister, aunt and good friend. Janet leaves behind to celebrate her life, brother Murdy, daughter Kathy (Colin), son Bob (Toni), Judy (Tim), grandchildren Damon (Jenn), Alexis, Jennifer, great-grandchildren Kayla and Everett, many nieces and nephews, and good friends. Mom would like to thank the caring staff of Park Manor Personal Care Home for the loving care and friendship you gave her and Janet's family thanks you ever so much for the kindness and love. Mom touched many lives and many lives touched Mom, and that is how she lives on. Mom's wishes of cremation have been carried out with a private family interment. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to a charity of your choice. Sorry about the purple nail polish mom! I really enjoyed listening to Janet's stories when i'd clean her apartment on Marion Street and would sit with her afterwards to listen to more stories..she was a wonderful woman and will be missed..
