LEO BRUCE It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Leo Bruce on Saturday, March 30, 2013 at Actionmarguerite (St. Boniface). Leo was a warm and giving person, always eager to help anyone in need. The greatest joy of his life was his family. He adored his children and spent many happy times watching them pursue their various sports and activities as they grew up. He is survived by his loving wife Louise, his son Eugene (Bonnie) and his daughter Regan. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the doctors, nurses and staff of Actionmarguerite (St. Boniface) for the care and compassion given to Leo and our family. They would also like to thank E.J. Coutu & Co for their tremendous help during this difficult time. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, April 4 at 11:00 a.m. in St. Emile Church, 556 St. Anne's Road, with viewing one half hour prior to the mass. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, donations in memory of Leo may be made to the Actionmarguerite Foundation, 185 Despins Street, Winnipeg, MB R2H 9Z9. Sorry to hear of Leo's passing my dear Louise. I was thinking of his beautiful smile, hearty laughter, & the twinkle in his eyes he always seemed to have no matter what was happening. Please take care & remember all the good times Albert, me, Leo & you had together in Richer. May he now rest in peace - Posted by: Lina from "Richer" (friend) on: Apr 03, 2013

It is with great sadness that I send my sympathy to you Louise & Reagan and brother. Leo was Dad's first friend when he arrived at Tache and they had their own special language that they communicated in. I will remember Leo's smile and having a dance with him the last time I was at Tache. - Posted by: Judy McNair (Harry Morris' daughter) on: Apr 02, 2013

I remember going to work with my Dad with my Uncles. Especially getting to ride on huge heavy machines that my Uncle Leo once drove. Uncle you will be sadly missed by me but I'll still have the great memories of you growing. If I see a cloud in the sky looking just like I'll know you'll be looking upon us all. Love you forever and always your godchild little Leo - Posted by: Leo Carriere (Nephew Godchild) on: Apr 02, 2013
