Left to cherish her memory: daughter, Phyllis (Karl) Gradt, grandchildren: Judy (Paul) Zonneveld (Julia, Steven and Sarah), Jen (Rick) Heidman (Hannah and Luke), Karl (Carri) Gradt (Kaden and Even), Mark (Shannon) Gradt (Emily and Camryn), son, Len (Sharon) Vince, grandchildren: Ryan and Melissa Vince. Mom was predeceased by her husband, Leonard in 1973, mom's parents, John and Annie Walker and brothers, Rupert and Jack. Mom was born in Ayr, Scotland in 1919 and immigrated to Canada in 1921. Mom was raised in the North End, attending Luxton and St. John's Schools. Mom was a long-time resident of Bannerman Avenue (since 1927) where she raised, and then enjoyed the family at gatherings, until her sudden health issues took her to hospital. Special thanks from the family to Dr. C. Loepp and the caring, respectful staff of 3 North at Concordia Hospital. In keeping with mom's wishes, a celebration of life will be held on April 13, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Kildonan United Church, 187 Kilbride Ave., Winnipeg. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the charity of your choice. Mom you will be sadly missed and forever loved.
