Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARIANO CORSIGA October 16, 1932 - April 8, 2013 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our father and grandfather, Mariano Llacer Corsiga (Mars) of Winnipeg, MB at the age of 80 years, with family by his side, on April 8, 2013 at the Riverview Health Centre. He is survived by his wife and soul mate of 43 years, Remidios, his sons Marlon (Arlene) and Remar (Juvy), his daughters Marianne (Julito) and Marichie (Franley); grandchildren Carlo, Faye, Kayla, Madison, Deion and Jamuel. A viewing (lamay) will be held on Thursday and Friday, April 11 and 12, 2013 at Wheeler Funeral Home, 1800 Day St., Winnipeg, MB beginning at 6:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. The funeral mass will be held at St. Joseph Church, 355 Andrews St. (along Mountain Avenue) on Saturday, April 13, 2013 at 12:00 p.m. Interment will follow at the Glen Eden Memorial Gardens, 4477 Main St., West St. Paul, Manitoba. It was a great honour for me to administer the Sacrament of Anointing of the Sick [James 5: 14-15] to our beloved friend Mariano on the Saturday before he passed away, with the presence of the family @RHC. That was a moment of amazing grace for Brother Mar and for us all, a "full house" in the room. He was a holy man, very compassionate to everyone, and a faith filled person.
