PAMELA GEACH November 6, 1942 - April 13, 2013 With greatest sadness we announce the passing of Pam Geach after a courageous six year battle with Cancer, peacefully with family at her side on April 13, 2013. Pam will be lovingly remembered and always missed by her husband of 49 and one half years, Courtney; daughters Linda (Roger) and Paula; grandchildren Matthew, Kayla and Eric, Danielle and Larissa; sister Barbara; brother Brian (Caroline); sister-in-law Margaret (Brian); along with many other relatives and friends in England. Pam was predeceased by her Father and Mother, Lewis and Doris Sanders. Pam was born and raised in Cornwall, England. She was married to Courtney in 1963. After spending her honeymoon in Guernsey it was Pam's goal to travel as much as possible. That goal was met before and after retirement in 2002 until she was diagnosed with Cancer in 2007. Pam loved Mazatlan, Mexico where she made many, many friends and called it her second home. Pam spent 20 years working as a Health Care Aide and Psychiatric Assistant. Pam loved doing many types of crafts until she lost the use of her fingers following Chemo. To provide comfort Pam decided she wanted a dog. Missy provided comfort, loyalty and tons of love right up to Pam's last moments. The family would like to thank all those providing care for Pam: Dr. Lindenschmidt, CancerCare Manitoba, Mel and Debbie at Chemo in Selkirk, Homecare Nurse, Sandy and Aide, Thelma. Thanks to close friends Dale and Ruth, Bert and Sallie, and Emma for all their care and support, also Minister Deborah Vitt and Gilbart Funeral Home. Cremation has taken place. Private Family Memorial to take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to CancerCare Manitoba. GOD SAW YOU GETTING TIRED God saw you getting tired, When a cure was not to be, He closed His arms round you and whispered, "Come to me." In tears we saw you sinking, We watched you fade away. Our hearts were almost broken, You fought so hard to stay. What you suffered, you told us few, You didn't deserve what you went through. Tired and weary, you made no fuss But tried so hard to stay with us. But when we saw you sleeping, So peaceful, free from pain, We could not wish you back To suffer all that again. So treasure her Lord, in your garden of rest, For here on earth, she was the very best. God Bless You, Amen Gilbart Funeral Home, Selkirk in care of arrangements. www.gilbartfuneralhome.com

Mum, it has been a pleasure spending time with you, playing darts back in the day, family gatherings and house parties where you were the grand entertainer! You and Dad did a great job raising your daughters, and I'm proud to be a part of your family. Thanks for passing down the Cornish Pasty tradition. You are sadly missed by myself and all who knew you. Always loved, never forgotten. - Posted by: Roger Poirier (Son in law) on: Apr 28, 2013

Pamie has been a precious friend of ours for the past 14 years. Over the years we shared many wonderful times together. We will surely miss her terribly. She and Court were such wonderful hosts whenever we came to visit. What precious memories we have of playing dominos, cards or dice games together with them. Pamie taught us the secrets of making a genuine Cornish pastry and we now think of her each time we make them. What a gracious and loving person sharing her warm love with those who were blessed with the chance to know her. We pray God's healing love with fall upon her family now and help her loved ones to cope with the loss of her. May God keep Pamie secure in His loving arms until that day when we are reunited with her. - Posted by: Dale & Ruth Edgell (Friends) on: Apr 24, 2013

Mum, I don't know what I'll do without you! I've always considered you my best friend, and always wanted to speak to you before anyone else about everything and anything. My life will never be the same without you. I'll miss you always, love you forever and never ever forget you. You were the best Mum I could ever ask for. I believe you're at peace now, your fight is over. I appreciate how you struggled to stay with us, but do find comfort in knowing that your pain is now gone. Rest in peace and know I'll always love you, and think of you daily. xoxoxox - Posted by: Linda Sopher (Daughter) on: Apr 22, 2013
