We moved to Windsor Park in the late 50's and lived accross the street from the Ross family home on Barberry Rd. I remember learning how to skate and play very rough hockey on a rink in the Ross's back yard flooded from a hand pump well. Remi, Noel and Marcel were all very athletic and I can not ever remember beating them in any sport. I have many fond memories of talking to Remi about the history of the world or making a bow and arrow from an old hockey stick. Remi always put an "s" at the end of my name calling me Colins and when I was a kid I would get mad at him, He did it just to bug me. You were one of the good ones Remi. Thanks for the memories. Uncle Remi will be missed. He will always be a big part of my memories growing up, and of summers spent stuccoing in Pine Falls. We are both Thankful for Happy times during cookouts and holidays with Uncles Noel, Remi and Marcel, and Aunties Yvette, Simone and Mom and Grandpa and Grandma Ross. “To live in hearts we leave behind is not to die.” - Posted by: Norman and Candy Layher (Nephew) on: Apr 15, 2013

Dearest Remi and Marcel, your cousins will always have many childhood memories; walking from our house to yours, past the Dupas house on Elizabeth with their gigantic sunflowers, and on through the brush (now called Windsor Park), their building of a tree house with my brothers, my being teased by Marcel (no surprise right?). As a little girl, sitting at Auntie Marie's table watching handsome Remi. The memories will remain. We love you. - Posted by: Laberge family (Therese, Lucille, Jeanine, Diane, Bertrand, Roger, Claude, Larry) (cousins) on: Apr 15, 2013

I often saw Remi riding his bike to Superstore, sometimes 2-3 times a day. We would smile and wave as we passed each other on the sidewalk...such a small gesture but something I will miss. - Posted by: Gail Bartlette (acquaintenance) on: Apr 15, 2013
