PESSAGNO May 22, 1938 - April 13, 2013 With his family by his side, holding his hands, our beloved David Pessagno passed away peacefully on April 13, 2013 at Concordia Hospital at the age of 74 years. He is predeceased by his parents, Stella and Dominico. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 51 years, Patricia. Through their lifetime together, they created a large family who will miss him profoundly. David was a loving father to Anne Marie, Lynn, Sharonne, Michelle (Real) and Nicole. Better known as "Nono", David will be remembered by his grandchildren: David, Davina, Joseph, Jeremy, Amanda, Krysten, Micheal, Jordan, Stephanie, Nick, Devin, Jessica, Joshua, Alyssa, Abby, Noah, Maddox and Marik, and great-grandchildren Devont, Dezyrea, Maddilyn, Sawyer and Eden. David will be remembered by his sister Christina and family. David was born and raised in Manchester, England where he started his family. He married Patricia in 1961, had three girls and moved to Ontario to plant their roots. They had two more daughters and their family was complete when they made their final move to Winnipeg in 1977. David supported his family as a Research Chemist, often travelling, but he was always home for Sunday suppers where his family gathered. He had a passion for sports, especially motorbikes, fishing and golf. He was a handy man always proud to take things apart just to put them back together again. Admired by all for his wisdom and wealth of knowledge, David will be missed for his philosophies, stories and car advice. He was a proud man who inspired his family to be strong and honourable with dedicated personal convictions. A special thank you to the staff at Concordia Hospital for their compassion and care. The family will honour the life of David with a private gathering.
