KARTAR SINGH BATH April 15, 1928- April 11, 2013 "Your life was a blessing, your memory a treasure. You are loved beyond words and missed beyond measure". Kartar Singh Bath took his last breath with family by his side on Thursday, April 11, 2013. Born in Chuharchak, India, to the late Megha Singh and late Ind Kaur, he was blessed to have six children with his wife Kulwant Kaur. He will be dearly missed by his children Parkash Kaur Brar (Mohinder), Amarjit Kaur Chahal (Mukhtiar), Rajinder Kaur Brar (Iqbal), Satinder Kaur Singh (Parmjit), Sukhminder Singh Bath (Navneet), and the late Bhupinder Singh Bath (Baljinder). Kartar Singh immigrated to Winnipeg, Canada in 1983 at the age of 55 and moved to Brandon, Manitoba in 2004. Upon his retirement he cherished spending his time with his 11 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Throughout his great life, Kartar Singh was known for his humour, his nurturing presence and his loyalty to his loved ones. His legacy will live on through his everlasting bonds with his family and friends. Funeral Services will be held in his honour on Sunday, April 21 at Thomson "In the Park" Funeral Home 1291 McGillivray Boulevard at 2:00 p.m. Prayer services will begin Friday, April 19, 2013 at 5:00 p.m. and conclude Sunday, April 21, 2013 following the funeral service at Sikh Society of Manitoba (1244 Mollard Road, Winnipeg, MB).
