Peacefully in the arms of her mother, our precious daughter, granddaughter, great-granddaughter, niece, sister, and auntie, was taken to her heavenly home. Malorie leaves to mourn her mom and dad, Elaine and Grant Marsden; brothers, Brent (Kendra) and Grant Jr.; sisters, Brittany (Dion), Isis (Waylon), Haley, Caitlyn, Sietta and Elizabeth; her maternal grandparents, Andrew and Charlotte Anderson; maternal great-grandmother, Louise Mercredi; her paternal uncles and aunties, Gerald (Brenda), Dennis (Martha), Mary, Barbara, Pearl (Guy) and Sharon (Clayton); her maternal uncles and aunties, Chad (Kristen), Ashley (Jenn), Jane, Carol (Anthony) and Tina; nephews and nieces, Keegan George, Kennon, Tianna, Tiara, Caidence, Maddison and Natalia; also a large extended family, too numerous to mention. She was predeceased by her paternal grandparents, John and Irene Marsden; her maternal great-grandparents, Steve and Harriet Anderson; her great-grandfather, George Mercredi; as well as other extended family. Malorie touched many people in her short time. She attended Nursery at Pinaymootang School prior to her illness. She enjoyed being outdoors and playing dolls with her sisters and niece, she also enjoyed singing. Her favorite movie was Lion King and she enjoyed watching her favorite TV station "Treehouse" with her dad, which she named her dogs after the characters Toopy and Swiper. She would often wake up her dad in the middle of the night and have him make her favorite doo doo (chocolate milk). The family wishes to thank Dr. Murray Kesselman, Pediatrician and the staff of the PICU (especially Ainsley), also, the 4th floor at the Children's Hospital for their support during this difficult time. Also thank you to Pinaymootang First Nation Chief and Council, school staff, health staff, and the many other people who showed their love and support to our family. Wake Service will be held on Monday, April 22, 2013 at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, April 23, 2013, at 12:00 p.m. Services will take place at the Fairford House of Prayer, with Rev. Donald Gould officiating.Interment will follow at the St. Helen's Anglican Cemetery. Pallbearers will be her uncles: Chad and Ashley Anderson, Gerald and Dennis Marsden.
