JEANNE REGADIO (nee MAGLAPID) December 27, 1958 April 19, 2013 Peacefully on Friday, April 19, 2013 Jeanne passed away after a courageous battle with cancer at St. Boniface General Hospital at the age of 58 years. She was born in Salvacion, Baao, Camarines Sur, Philippines to Eminiano Balilla Maglapid and the late Rosalia Badong. Mom was predeceased by her mother Rosalia and a brother Jose. She leaves behind brothers and sisters, Santiago, Lilia, Vicente, Gloria and Marilyn in the Philippines. Loving her always is her husband Eddienasario "Eddie"; children, Jade (Mary Grace), Emmarene (Adam) and Eduardo. Lola will be greatly missed by her grandchildren, Raphael, Randen, Alexis, and Katriel. Mom loved making clothes. Eddie met her while she was sewing. Jeanne was able to travel all over Europe while she worked in Saudi Arabia making clothing for princes and princesses. She emigrated from the Philippines to Canada in 1989. In Canada she worked at Western Gloves making many unforgettable friends along the way. She also worked part-time tirelessly with her husband so that they were able help family in the Philippines. We would like to thank our family and friends in Canada, the U.S. and the Philippines for all the love and endless support rendered. A special thank you to CancerCare Manitoba and the kind and supportive 4B Staff at St. Boniface General Hospital. Lamay/Viewing will be held on Friday, April 26 and Saturday, April 27, 2013 commencing at 6:00 p.m. at Mosaic Funeral Chapel, 1839 Inkster Blvd., Winnipeg, MB. Prayer Vigil will be held at 7:00 p.m. at Mosaic Funeral Chapel on Friday evening. Monsignor Enrique Samson Jr. officiant. A Funeral Mass and Interment will be held at a later date in the Philippines.. If friends so desire, in lieu of flowers, contributions in mom's memory may be made to St. Boniface Hospital Foundation.
