Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryKELVIN MARK FLETT It is with great sadness we announce the sudden passing of Kelvin (Smiley) Flett on April 21, 2013, with his family at his side. Kelvin's first love was his family: his wife of 39 years, Brenda; daughters Tina (Kevin), Leanne (Rob), and his five grandkids Mathew, Kaitlyn, Brooke, Kamryn and Mackenzie. He will also be sadly missed by his brothers, Ken and Murray (Darcy); sister Karen (Howard); in- laws Elinor Sims, Kathy (Clem), Gordon (Janice), Joanne (Don), and numerous nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by his parents, Stanley and Margaret Flett; father-in-law Sam Sims, and brother Jim. Kelvin made friends easily, many of these lasting his lifetime. Many of these friends were like family to Kelvin. Kelvin was born in Selkirk on August 9, 1948 and lived in the Selkirk area his entire life. A come and go celebration of his life will be held on Friday, April 26, 2013 at the Selkirk Golf and Country Club from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. In typical Kelvin fashion, please dress casual, wear your jeans, tees or team jerseys. A private family interment will follow at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please send a donation to the Selkirk and District General Hospital, Chemotherapy Department. The family would like to thank the staff at both Selkirk and District General Hospital, and St. Boniface Cath Lab for their care and respect for Kelvin. Brenda, Life is like quilting. You choose many complimentary and contrasting colours, pick a pattern, and put it all together. What you have created is yours to love forever, even after some of the stitching begins to come undone. When you wrap yourself in your quilt, you can feel all of the memories that it holds. Brenda, you have been in my thoughts and prayers all week. Hugs. - Posted by: Susan Cote (Quilting friend) on: Apr 24, 2013
