Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryROY FREDERICK CARRIERE June 15, 1944 - April 21, 2013 With great sadness we announce Roy's passing, suddenly at his home, on April 21, 2013. Roy leaves behind his son Mark Creasey and daughter Shirley Carrière. He is also survived by his brothers: Maurice (Judy) Dufault, Joe (Sharon) Dufault, Dan (Donna) Dufault, Miles (Barbara) Dufault, Robert (Pat) Dufault, and his sister Debra Dyck. Roy also leaves many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father Frederick Carrière (1945 in the Second World War), stepfather Louis Dufault (1992), mother Georgina Dufault (2012), and brother Louis Dufault, Jr. (2012). Roy had several jobs in his working life, most notably retiring as a printer. In retirement, Roy enjoyed family gatherings, dining out, and card games filled with laughter and good humour. Cremation has taken place. A service of Remembrance to celebrate Roy's life will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 30 at Desjardins Funeral Chapel, 357 Des Meurons Street.
