LARRY THOMAS FUNK Larry Thomas Funk, age 66, passed away Tuesday April 23, 2013 in Winnipeg MB. Larry is predeceased by his parents Heinrich and Marie Funk and his sister, Gayle Funk. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife Charlotte, his son Garth, daughter and son-in- law Susan and Scott Phimister all of Winnipeg, and his brother Dennis of Fort Qu'Appelle. Larry was born in Saskatchewan on October 4, 1946. He spent many years working for CIBC where he made good friends and lived in several locations including Fort Qu'Appelle, Hafford, La Ronge, Haywarden, Wadena, Kincaid, Norquay, Regina, and finally Winnipeg. Larry had a love of cooking and enjoyed feeding family and friends. He took pride in his gardening and was fond of spending his summers enjoying the family cabin at Kipabiskau or visiting in Fort Qu'Appelle.   • I remember Larry . Growing Brussels sprouts in his garden, making sourkraute, storing all the garden harvest in sand in the root cellar. Drinks on the deck and many good times .
