BENOIT GAGNE Peacefully at the Portage District General Hospital on Friday, April 26, 2013, Mr. Benoit Gagné of Haywood, Manitoba passed away at the age of 92 years. Benoit was predeceased by his beloved wife Antonia (née Massinon) in 2008, and by one great-granddaughter Quinn in 2012. He leaves to mourn his passing six children, Lucille (Nathaniel) Plett, Yolande Gautron, Gilbert (Yvonne) Gautron, Roger (Glenda) Gagné, Paul (Carol) Gagné and Michel Gagné; 15 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren. He is also survived by two sisters, Angèle Chappellaz and Cécile (Georges) Choiselat, and numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He also leaves to mourn Antonia's family, her sisters Irene Massinon and Jeaninne Touzin. Remembering him also are his special niece Cécile and his extended Poirier family. Funeral Services will be held in the St. Denis Roman Catholic Church in Haywood, MB on Thursday, May 2, 2013. Prayers at 1:30 p.m., Funeral Mass at 2:00 p.m. followed by interment in the Parish Cemetery with Fr. Guy Lavallée officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Manitoba Developmental Centre, c/o Residents Benefit Fund, Box 1190, Portage la Prairie, MB R1N 3C6.
