CLAUDIA SPENCE It is with sadness that the family announces the passing of their beloved mother and nanny, Claudia Spence. Claudia passed away peacefully at her home in Eddystone on Sunday, April 28, 2013 surrounded by her loving family at the age of 87 years. Prayers will be offered on Wednesday, May 1 at 7:00 p.m. in the Sneath-Strilchuk Funeral Services, Ste. Rose Chapel. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, May 2 at 2:00 p.m. from Ste. Rose de Lima Roman Catholic Church in Ste. Rose du Lac. Fr. Eric Zadji will celebrate the mass with the interment following in the St. Thomas Roman Catholic Cemetery, Eddystone, MB. My dear nanny, I cherish in my heart the wonderful memories I was privileged to share with you. I will never forget visits to nanny's when we would watch you rolling out pie crusts or making bannock at the kitchen table, or having a cup of tea with visitors who were always made to feel welcome.
