  • Terry, I was so sorry to hear of your loss. You may not remember me but I was the flower girl at your wedding. We lived just across the street from Carol and her family. Please accept my most sincere condolences. - Posted by: Susan (Carr) Babynchuk (friend) on: May 25, 2013

  • Hello Terry I am so sorry for your loss. I met Carol, through Val Thorpe and always enjoyed her company. She was great fun to be with. My most vivid memory was hitching a ride from Minnedosa to Clear Lake one Saturday morning. Somebody was supposed to arrange a ride for us and it fell through. We were nervous and giggly and successful. Safer times then. My condolences to your children as well. Diane - Posted by: Diane Jinks(Darbey) (Friend) on: May 22, 2013

  • Carol was always bubbly, fun, and a very smart student in our class. I remember when she attended our meetings at the Round Table to plan the celebration of our 40th graduation anniversary. We had such a good time, at the Norwood. Then 10 years later, we started planning our 50th, she tearfully informed me that she would be unable to help as she had just been diagnosed with Parkinson's... it was a very sad, and touching moment. Carole will always be in our hearts. We will always honour her memory when we get together, every May. She was an excellent nurse. My deepest condolences Terry and to your children, and grandchildren, Sincerely Denise (Dansereau), class of 1960 A - Posted by: Denise Cyr-Gander (nursing student class 60 A) on: May 18, 2013

  • Terry and Family, we are very sorry to hear of your loss of Carol. I remember the many, many times passing by the corner of Traverse and Eugenie and seeing the blue Ford. It brings back many pleasant thoughts of days gone by. Barbara and I wish to pass along our sympathy. - Posted by: Bill Thompson (Friend) on: May 18, 2013

  • My earliest memory of my Cousin Carol was from the summer I turned 8 - it was during a visit with Uncle Bill and Aunt May. I was permitted, one afternoon, to share Carol's absolutely awesome playhouse the back yard on Traverse Ave! Later, as I considered career choices and discussed options with her, her experiences and insights were influential in my decision to also become a nurse. Although she was my senior by 10 years, once I reached my mid twenties, she and I established and shared a professional nursing bond while I taught Nursing at SBGH Diploma School of Nursing and she practiced part time in radiology. My heartfelt love and condolences to you Terry and your family... please believe me when I say that I really do understand, intimately, what it is to lose your life's mate! Take care and God Bless. - Posted by: Glenna Germain (Cousin) on: May 17, 2013
