CECILIA (ELSIE) KALINSKI (nee YAWARSKI) It is with great sadness the family announces the sudden passing of Cecilia (Elsie) Kalinski, aged 82 years at her home on May 14, 2013. Elsie will be loved and forever missed by her husband Paul of 60 years of marriage; son Syd (Anne); daughter Linda Grimolfson; son Randy (Darlene); daughter Karen Stefanyshyn and son Terry; grandchildren Angie (Joel), Jeff (Chevone), Brittany, Colton, Tamara, Chelsea, Destiny, Chantal, Roger, Chris and Shannon; great-grandchildren Spencer, Carson and Ryder. She was predeceased by her mother Anna in 1960, father Joseph in 1966, brothers Victor, Carl and Walter, all of Ontario. Elsie was born on January 26, 1931 in Elma, MB. She married her lifelong love, Paul on June 14, 1952 and they raised their five children in Lockport, MB. She worked at Eaton's downtown Winnipeg for 17 years. She cherished her children and loved having them over, those were her greatest times. She listened, loved and cared deeply for them. She was their shoulder to cry on. Wife, Mom and granny you will be forever in our hearts. Prayers will be held on Monday, May 20 at 4:30 p.m. in the Gilbart Funeral Chapel in Selkirk, MB. Cremation will follow the prayers. A Memorial Mass will be held on Tuesday, May 21 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Stanislaus Roman Catholic Church, East Selkirk with Father Jerry Talarski officiating. Interment to follow in the East Selkirk Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation in her memory.
