MANPREET SINGH BAINS Manpreet Singh Bains, 18, died on Tuesday, May 21, 2013 at the St. Boniface Hospital. Manpreet was born on July 13, 1994 in Winnipeg, Manitoba and was the son of Harpreet and Mandeep Bains. Manpreet and his younger brother, Gagandeep, were the best of friends. Manpreet will be survived by his paternal grandparents, Sukhdev Singh Bains, Mohinder Kaur Bains, and maternal grandparents, Manjit Singh Sandhu and Gurdip Kaur Sandhu. Manpreet was a graduate of Fort Richmond Collegiate, class of 2012. Manpreet just completed his first year of studies at the University of Manitoba and aspired to attend law school following his undergraduate studies. The family wants to thank the staff and doctors of St. Boniface Hospital. The funeral will be held Saturday, May 25, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Thomson "In the Park" Funeral Home, 1291 McGillivray Blvd. The funeral service will be followed by a prayer ceremony at Winnipeg Sikh Centre at the intersection of Dovercourt and Scurfield.
