WAYNE KOPYTKO It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Wayne Steven Kopytko. Mourning his passing is his beloved mother Beatrice (Betty), sisters Darlene (Peter), Dianne (Bill), nephews Chris, Jeff (Joanna), niece Shelley and grand-nieces, Evelyn and Cecilia. Wayne was predeceased by his father Steve. Wayne was a gregarious person with a hearty laugh. He enjoyed music and was a drummer for his army cadet unit. He loved to discuss politics and history especially around his heritage. He was a long-time employee of the Manitoba Liquor Commission. Wayne's interests included computer games, reading and playing golf. He had a special relationship with his mom and was a great support to her the last few years. He left us too soon and will be sadly missed. Rest in peace, Wayne. Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 29, 2013 at Thomson "In the Park" Funeral Home, 1291 McGillivray Blvd., Winnipeg MB. Burial will follow at St. Vital Cemetery. God 1 1/2 years and I still can't fathom that you are gone. I so miss you Wayne & think about you remembering all the laughs and having that comfort interacting with each others friends. Your the only man I have every truly enjoyed cooking for you. Sharing quite times watching rented movies. The jokes we played on each other. Confiding/Sharing things we wouldn't with others. May 29, 2013 I'll miss you Wayne, the short times we spent together has left me with wonderful lifetime memories. The first time we met, you instantly made me feel like I was part of a long lost family. I will never forget that hearty laugh and smile from ear to ear. I'm so sorry I could not be there to say one last Goodbye. My sincere thoughts and prayers to everyone in your family. P.S. Wayne, I miss you already. You were like a father to me. You could cheer me up every time I was down. You knew exactly what to say.
