GUILLERMO ROXAS FRANCISCO May 5, 1943 - May 19, 2013 Suddenly on May 19, 2013, while on vacation in the Philippines, GUILLERMO (Guilleng) FRANCISCO passed away at the age of 70. He leaves behind to mourn, his wife of 47 years, Flordeliza Criste FRANCISCO, his daughter Lorraine (Fernando) Solomon, his sons Eduardo (Jocelyn), William (Mabelle), his grandchildren Matthew, Claudia, Caleb and Abigail, his brothers Renato, Nicanor Jr., Augusto, Bernabe and only sister in the Philippines, Margarita Francisco Garrido. He was predeceased by his father, Nicanor Sr. and his mother, Margarita. He also leaves to mourn many loving cousins, nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, grand-nephews and friends both in Canada and in the Philippines. Guilleng was born in Bacoor, Cavite, Philippines and immigrated to Winnipeg in 1972 at the age of 29. Throughout the years, he was able to and helped many family members come to Canada. He worked at Freed & Freed, Co-op Implements and retired from E.H. Price Limited as a machine operator in 2008. He served as a Deacon for nearly four decades in the Church of Christ (IGLESIA NI CRISTO) until his passing. He loved camping with family and friends, fishing and cooking for his children, especially, his grandchildren. He will be lovingly remembered as a kind and generous man with a great sense of humour, a great husband, the BEST DAD and BEST LOLO - a true family man. We miss and love you so much. Lamay will be held on Thursday and Friday, May 30 and 31, 2013 from 6:00 p.m. to 12:00 midnight at Thomson "In The Park" Funeral Home, 1291 McGillivary Blvd. Interment will be on Saturday, June 1, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. THOMSON "IN THE PARK" 925-1120 Condolences may be sent to www.thomsoninthepark.com
