Condolences & Memories (6 entries)

  • Bill and I used to go to Wpg once n awhile and go for Chinese dinner, then go see a movie or just go to antique stores, or just order ranks pizza and watch Antique road show on TV. He was a good friend and asked for nothing just good company and enjoy a Saturday. I miss those days, but will always remember our good friendship we had. I know Sandy loved you and misses you as well especially when you brought home treats for him. You're with your loved ones in heaven. I miss you and will never forget you my friend. - Posted by: Brenda Mason (friend) on: Oct 06, 2014

  • Started buying and selling hockey memorabilia with Bill way back in the early 1980s. Bill helped me with his knowledge of the history of the original 6 hockey players and the various collectibles associated with that era. The hobby will miss his expertise. - Posted by: Jim Wilson (fellow collector) on: Jun 12, 2013

  • Sorry to hear of Bill's passing, I knew Bill from when we started school together in 1956 in Selkirk, grade one. He lived just across the street from Victoria school. He was a real nice person and a good friend, he will be missed. - Posted by: Les Sabiston (friend) on: Jun 05, 2013

  • Got to know Bill very well over the past 20 years, as he was always at the local Sports Collector shows and hobby stores. He was a great guy to talk to about the Hobby or sports in general. Bill was always willing to share his vast knowledge of vintage hockey collectables with anyone that would ask. He will be missed. Rest in Peace Bill. - Posted by: Pat Lelliott (Friend) on: Jun 01, 2013

  • I'm so sorry to hear this sad news. He was too young to pass and will be greatly missed by many in the collectibles industry. I will always remember him as a gentle giant, always polite and always with a big smile on his face. May his soul rest in a good place and may his loved ones get the comfort needed to give them strength in these times of sorrow. - Posted by: Sharon (Co Worker) on: May 31, 2013
