CHARLOTTE THIEM December 28, 1925 May 26, 2013 Charlotte Thiem (Koch) passed away peacefully at Golden West Centennial Lodge on Sunday, May 26, 2013 after a long battle with Alzheimer's disease at the age of 87. She leaves behind her husband of 64 years Werner Max Thiem, sister Jean Rompf, nieces Michelle and Cynthia, daughter Annette Kletke (Garry), and her son Axel (Dawn). Charlotte was blessed with five grand-children: Glen (Joanne), Lorne (Suzanne) and Paul Kletke; Josh (Sasha) Thiem and Cassandra (Collin) Tétrault. She leaves behind six great-grandchildren: Delia and Max Kletke, Hayden and Nolan Thiem, Mia and Nicholas Tétrault, as well as many nieces and nephews. She was a devoted wife, sister, mother and grandmother as well as an accomplished businesswoman and commercial beekeeper, to name only a few of her accomplishments. In compliance with Charlotte's wishes, her departure to Heaven will be marked by a family dinner and memorial service at her home with no public funeral. Charlotte's family wishes to express their most heartfelt appreciation to the staff of GWCL who took such excellent loving care of her for the last six years and kept her comfortable.
