LAXMIBEN KESHAVLAL DAVE 1911 - 2013 It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing away of Laxmiben Keshavlal Dave on June 9, 2013 in Winnipeg, having lived over 101 years of a very long, fruitful and fulfilling life. Laxmiben was predeceased by her dear husband: Keshavlal Joitaram Dave. She is survived by five daughters: Bhanuben, Induben (Hasmukhlal Pandya), Hansaben (Vinodrai Patel), Jyotsnaben, and Madhukanta; two sons: Narendrakumar (Usha) and Ajakumar (Champaben); grandchildren: Kalyani, Kinnari, Manish (Palak), Sachin, Sanjay (Sherise), and great-granddaughter: Dwita. Laxmiben was born in Bombay. After her marriage to Keshavlal Joitaram Dave she moved to East Africa where her husband worked for the East Africa Railways and Harbours. Upon his retirement they moved to Nadiad, India for some years and in 1978 came to Canada to join their children. Keshavlal passed away in Winnipeg in 1988. Laxmiben was a deeply religious woman who prayed for hours each day. She lived an exemplary life, raised a good family helping the children, grandchildren and extended family and friends all her life. She will sadly be missed by all those who came in contact with her. The family wishes to thank the West Park Manor and their entire staff and management for the very good care and service they provided to her for the last short period of her life. A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held on Thursday, June 13, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at Thomson "In The Park" Funeral Home, 1291 McGillivray Boulevard, Winnipeg, MB R3T 5Y4.
