LEANDRO October 26, 1927- June 14, 2013 It is with profound sadness that the family announces the passing of Maria on June 14, 2013 at the age of 85. She is predeceased by her parents and baby brother. Maria (Marquinhas) will be greatly missed by her husband Manuel, and daughters Maria Graciete (Jose) Isolina (Rocco). Also surviving are grandchildren Helena, Dennis (Vanessa) Sofia (Ruy) Raquel (Nelson) Ryan, and great-grandchildren Sienna, Antonio, and Selena. As well many family members and friends in Canada and Portugal will miss our dear beloved. Mom was born in Algarve, Portugal and came to Canada with her husband, mother and younger daughter to join her oldest daughter and family. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to all the caring staff at Riverview Health Centre -D3 in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. A private service is planned. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Heart and Stroke Foundation and The Canadian Diabetes Association. Descanse em Paz.
