TERRANCE (TERRY) KEITH DUNCAN Peacefully on Saturday, June 15, 2013, Terry Duncan passed away at the E. M. Crowe Memorial Hospital in Eriksdale, MB at the age of 72, after a battle with cancer. Terry was born on November 25, 1940 in Portage la Prairie and attended Squirrel Creek School near Katrime, MB. Terry married Olga Finkewich on April 19, 1963 and moved to Eriksdale in 1972. He worked as a hired hand and owned Pacific 66 and later worked at Finkel Farms. They bought a farm and raised cattle until his health started failing. He was a fair and honest person who was willing to help a friend in need. He is survived by his loving wife, Olga; daughter-in-law Sherri; father-in-law Gregory Finkewich; sisters-in-law Sophia and Laura; sister Betty, along with cousins, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his son Clayton Duncan, his mother and father Ethel and Henry Duncan, his mother-in-law Katherine Finkewich, brothers-in-law Tony Finkewich and Don Hillman. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, June 21, 2013 in the Nord Cemetery with Melanie Kauppila officiating. Lunch will follow in the Eriksdale Community Centre, Main Street, Eriksdale. Thank you to Dr. Gergis, the nurses and staff of the E. M. Crowe Memorial Hospital for their compassionate care. Also to the paramedics who did everything they could to make his trips to Winnipeg as comfortable as possible. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the E. M.
