When God saw you getting tired and a cure was not to be, He put his arms around you and whispered come to me. He didn't like what you went through and he gave to you a rest. His garden must be beautiful, he only takes the best. And when we saw you sleeping, so peaceful and free from pain, we wouldn't wish you back again to suffer that again. Today we say goodbye and as you take your final rest, that garden must be beautiful because you are one of the best. Goodbye my friend, Lois - Posted by: Lois Keizer (friend) on: Jun 26, 2013

So sorry to hear about your loss Melissa. I worked with your mom for many years in the pension call centre. She always had a smile on her face. I remember some of the stories that she told about you and her little dog. She will be greatly missed! Take care Melissa. My prayers are with you and your family! - Posted by: Ginette Tremblay (Federal Govt Co-Worker) on: Jun 23, 2013

I'm so sorry for your loss Debbie. When I think of Janice, I see her bright smile and hear her cheerful laugh. She suffered for so many years. I will always remember her laugh when she told me she was now "the bionic woman" with most of her joints replaced. She was a brave woman. - Posted by: Dale (Whitwell) Loucks (Friend) on: Jun 21, 2013

Melissa, We were so sad to see the announcement of your mom's passing. She was a very sweet woman and it's sad she will not be here to share in your life and the life of her grandchildren. Our deepest condolences. - Posted by: Linda and Bill Girling (friends of Janice and the Sherbo family from many years ago) on: Jun 19, 2013

Melissa and family, Your mom we will certainly never forget. Her warm smile and gentle nature as we watched you girls play baseball (on some nasty cold nights) sure made us all warmer. Such a kind lady and so blessed and grateful that we had the chance to meet her. - Posted by: The Checkleys (Friends from Melissa's school days) on: Jun 18, 2013

I worked with Janice a number of years ago and she was the most inspiring person that I can think of. She was always positive with a smile on her face no matter what. She was a great mentor to me when I started and was so kind and patient. My thoughts and prayers are with her family. - Posted by: Darlene Bell (Co-worker) on: Jun 18, 2013

I worked with Janice for the years she worked for Service Canada and I've never met a more endearing person. Even though she was fighting her own battle she was always pleasant and kind. My prayers are with you and your family Melissa. - Posted by: Moira Burns (Federal Govt Co-Worker) on: Jun 18, 2013
