Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryIRENE LUPICHUK May 16, 1937 - June 15, 2013 It is with great love and sadness that our family says good-bye to Irene Emma Lupichuk. She passed away on Saturday, June 15, 2013, at the age of 76. Predeceased by her parents, Stanley and Anne Charambura, and an infant sister, Irene leaves to cherish her memory, her husband Joe, of 56 years, her children Jo-Ann (Ken) Park and Brian (Lisa) Lupichuk, her grandchild Adrian Lupichuk, her sisters Mary (Jim) Chornawka and Violet (Gerald) Anderson, her close friend and sister-in-law Polly (Lorne) Beattie, along with many friends and relatives. Irene was born on May 16, 1937, on the family farm near Calder, Saskatchewan. She married the love of her life, Joe in Kamsack, Saskatchewan on October 18, 1956. Shortly after they married, Joe and Irene chose Winnipeg to live and raise their family. Divine liturgy for the deceased will be held on Friday, June 21, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Michael's Ukrainian Catholic Parish, 400 Day Street, with Rev. Dr. Greg Zubacz officiating, followed by interment at Transcona Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in Irene's memory may be made to the Canadian National Institute for the Blind, or a charity of your choice.
