We feel so blessed that 'Mrs. D.' as our boys lovingly called her was a part of our lives. This amazing woman loved Mr. D., her children, her grandchildren, all children, and our children. Her smile, her laugh, her kisses...then there was her 'special coffee' she would put in the boys' sippy cups..they still talk about Mrs. D's coffee, and her soup and pasta! She loved to feed and take care of all that crossed her path. She is probably cooking up a storm amongst the angels she has joined above. We will miss her so. You are all in our hearts. xxxoooo - Posted by: Sue Hechter and Family (Family friend) on: Jun 27, 2013

Our sincere condolences go out to the D'Ottavio family. Teresa was a wonderful part of our lives and I remember all of the good times spent at Nona Teresa's house. She always had a big hug ready for us and we always enjoyed her company. Teresa was an important part of my childhood and I want to thank her and her family for helping me become the man I am today. With love always and God Bless! Michael Hoefler - Posted by: Michael Hoefler (Godson) on: Jun 26, 2013

I so much liked Teresa's company. She always had a smile and liked to tell stories. She was very strong willed and independent. I liked going to her condo for a coffee and liquor. She was always good to my kids. We were very sad to hear of her passing. Our sinsere condolences to her family. Love and prayers to Rose and the kids. Although we only knew Teresina, as she was known at the Poseidon, for a short time, we could tell she was a wonderful, caring person. Our mother was only there for 2 months, but we knew from the moment we met Teresina, that we could entrust our mother with her when we were not there. Every time we left the home and Teresina was sitting by the elevator door, we would wheel our mother right beside her and ask if she would keep an eye on her. She always said yes with a big smile. The last few times we went to visit mom, we noticed Teresina was not there at the elevator, we were told she was in the hospital. We were very saddened to learn she had passed away. Please accept our deepest sympathies for your loss. - Posted by: Colosimo Family () on: Jun 25, 2013
