Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryCHRISTIANE MIREILLE ALBEROLA (née CAGNON) May 20, 1938 - June 21, 2013 With great sadness, our beloved wife, mother and mimi, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 21, 2013. She leaves to mourn, her husband of 57 years, Roland, her four sons, Dominique (Kathleen), Serge (Stephanie), Yves, Alex (Alicia), beloved grandchildren, Christophe, Mathew (Amber), Aaron, Adrien, Tanesha, Tamara, Kassondra, Stephane and Anthony, as well as, John, Jeremie, Sarah, Emilie, Katelyn and Colin. She will also be lovingly remembered by her surviving family back in Europe, friends and the many people that she had touched throughout her life. We would like to extend our appreciation and gratitude to Dr. Maxwell and the Oncology staff at the Victoria Hospital CancerCare. A special thanks to Germaine and the Palliative Care Unit at St. Boniface Hospital for their care and compassion. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service celebrating Christiane's life will be held on Saturday, June 29, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. in the Coutu Funeral Chapel, 680 Archibald Street. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Christiane may be made to CancerCare Manitoba Foundation. Christiane was truly one classy lady who added glamour & hearty laughter to the workplace! I loved hearing her speak Francais as it sounded so beautiful even if it was something bad. We shared many a dialogue in regards to our common interest in fine cuisine. As you passed to Heaven on the first day of summer (as did my Dear Mother 2 yrs. ago), I will always remember your warmth & friendly smile associated with a bright & sunny day! Christiane a lovely lady. As always when I think of you I think of the smiles, laughter and fun we had. You certainly made work more enjoyable when we worked together. I always appreciated you sharing your wisdom with me and taking the time to show me the "ropes" and teaching me both work and life lessons. I have and will always appreciate your time, patience and friendship. RIP my friend, you may be gone but will never be forgotten.
