DANA GAYLE STEWART, PhD (MALLIN) It is with great sadness that the family of Dana Gayle Stewart announces her passing on Tuesday, June 25 at the age of 68. Dana will be greatly missed by her daughters Tamara Mallin and granddaughter Paris Mallin, Leah Mallin Paoloni and granddaughter Jade Paoloni. Her brother, Hon. Brent Stewart, wife Donna, their children and grandchildren. Colin Gibbs and many other family and friends. Dana's entire career was in Academia. It was in this arena she found a great sense of fulfillment and accomplishment. During her tenors Dana was able to work at many highly regarded Universities where she shared her love for teaching with her many friends, colleagues and students that were an integral part of her success and happiness. She was a mentor, an advocate and a lover of all things design. Her vocation opened the doors to a wonderful life of travel, knowledge all of which heightened her brilliance and extraordinary creativity. Later in life after retirement she had volunteered her time using her skills as a teacher at an ESL school. She loved to see the students not only grow in language but in life. She was a lifelong admirer of the arts, Opera, Ballet and anything she could immerse herself into that would add beauty and colour to her world. Dana is in peace and would like her family and friends to share in a memorial service on Friday, July 5 followed by a celebration of life. St. Andrew's River Heights Church 255 Oak St., Winnipeg, 1:00 p.m., University Women's Club of Winnipeg, 54 West Gate, Winnipeg, 2:00-4:00 p.m.
