Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARGUERITE CHAPPELLAZ (née du BOURG) 1913 - 2013 Peacefully on Wednesday, July 3, 2013, Marguerite passed away at the age of 100 years. She was predeceased by her beloved husband George in 1989. She leaves to mourn her three children, Gisèle (Pierre Arpin), Elie (Rhonda Laird), André (Evelyn Leduc); eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Also sisters-in-law, Simone du Bourg, Angèle Chappellaz and Marie Collet (Albert). Marguerite was born in St-Claude where she lived until moving to Foyer Valade in 2006. Mother was a gentle and empathetic person who always placed others needs ahead of her own. She was very devoted to her family. Mother was a person of great faith and devotion. The family wishes to express heartfelt gratitude to health care providers, nurses, doctors and all auxiliary staff both in St-Claude and at Foyer Valade for the loving care and attention bestowed upon Mother in the last years of her life. Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, July 6, 2013 in the St. Claude Roman Catholic Church at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow in the St. Claude Parish Cemetery.
