LUCILA BALMES It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Lucila Balmes on Tuesday, July 16, 2013, at Seven Oaks General Hospital, at the age of 82 years. Lucila will be sadly missed by her children, Mando, Rod (Florence), Jay (Sally), Nelisa (Ruel), Arnel (Rose); grandchildren: Len, Sarah, Charlene, JR, Anelie, Armelie, Mark, Mylene, Kevin, Ryan, Jason, Brian, James, CJ, Lauren, Jenny, Eyneil, Edrick, Edward, Arlene, Anjhelo, Gina, Abrianne, Isabella and Arielle. She was predeceased by her husband Ruben, her sons Edgardo, Leonardo (Nelia), Joselito (Kathy), and daughter Theresa (Val). Lamay will be held on July 20 and 21 from 6:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. at Thomson "In the Park" Funeral Home, 1291 McGillivray Boulevard. Funeral mass and a celebration of Lucila's life will be held on Monday, July 22, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Edward the Confessor Church, 818 Arlington Street with Father Mar Batucan presiding. Interment and Reception will follow at Thomson "In the Park" Cemetery and Funeral Home, 1291 McGillivray Boulevard. Pallbearers will be: Devo Bantugan, Boy Villaverde, Gilberto Cuevas, Freddie Bantugan, Nestor Herrer, and Ogie Bantugan. We would like to extend a special Thanks to the staff at Seven Oaks Hospital for the special care they gave to our mother.
