Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryHELEN TRYLINSKI (DOBKA) (nee MARTENS) May 4, 1941 - July 15, 2013 It is with heavy hearts that the family announces the passing of Helen, beloved daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother and friend on July 15, 2013, at the age of 72 years. She was predeceased by her husband Jack Trylinski, April 16, 1969. Helen will be lovingly remembered by her spouse of 25 years, Stanley Dobka as well as her daughters: Debbie and grandchildren Donavan and Olivia; Kathy and son-in-law Greg Usenko; Angie, son-in-law Rob Roman, and granddaughter Emma; and son Jeff. Helen was born in Pansy, Manitoba and married her husband Jack on October 5, 1960. They started their life together in Winnipeg where she worked at Eaton's as well as sewed at home while raising her family. Over the years Helen had many different jobs, such as school bus driver, courier and during the last 10 years of her working life she worked for Manitoba Home Care. Helen met her partner Stan while working as a courier in 1988. Helen was a very caring person who always helped others by doing things such as volunteering for Meals on Wheels and supported many children's causes such as Christian Children's Fund. She enjoyed dancing, knitting, crocheting, going to Folklorama and bingo. Her greatest joy in life was spending time with her grandchildren by having sleep-overs, baking with them, taking them to the park or out for treats and spending time at the lake fishing with them. Respecting Helen's wishes, cremation will take place and there will be a Celebration of Life Service on Tuesday, July 23, 2013 at 7:00 p.m. at Wheeler Funeral Home, Cemetery & Crematorium, 1800 Day Street. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the Christian Children's Fund, Osborne House or Manitoba Seizure and Epilepsy Association. As a kid I remember Jack and Helen coming to visit my parents on farm in Trentham. I was always delighted to have a good chat with them over lunch even tho we were a few years apart. May she rest in peace in God's hands. Our sympathies to Debbie & family, Kathy & family, Angie & family, and Jeff & Stanley - Posted by: Eddie&Marlene Trylinski (cousin) on: Jul 21, 2013
