FILOMENA CHILELLI Filomena Chilelli (nee Miele), aged 68, died peacefully on July 22, 2013 at Golden Links Lodge Care Home, surrounded by her family. She was born to the late Peter and Maria Miele on February 11, 1945 in Ciccano, Napoli. Filomena, along with her parents, came to Winnipeg in 1966. In 1967, Filomena met and married the love of her life Francesco Chilelli. Filomena loved being outdoors, especially in her garden. She would spend hours tending it and enjoyed picking fresh tomatoes and admiring the beautiful flowers. Filomena is survived by her husband Frank Chilelli, her daughters Rosina (Glen McClintock), Cindy (Kevin McGuire), grandchildren Serena McClintock, John McGuire, Ciaran McGuire, Alicia McClintock, her siblings Aniello, Antonio, Saverio (Lynn), Anna (Giovanni DeLuca), Chiara Sparenese, Giuseppina (Renato Bianchi), Yolanda Caria and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents Peter and Maria Miele, her brother Barbato. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, July 26 at 10:30 a.m. with viewing starting at 10:00 a.m. at St. John Brebeuf Parish Church, 1707 St. John Brebeuf Place with Father Mark Tarrant as the Celebrant. The interment service will follow at Green Acres Memorial Gardens. Family and friends are invited, following the interment, to a reception to be held at St. John Brebeuf Parish Hall. Pallbearers will be Kieron Moeller, Eddie Bianchi, Tom Paquette, Joe Foderaro, Bernardo Miele, and Barbato Miele. The family wishes to thank the Management and Staff at Golden Links Lodge Care Home, and the multiple friends and family members.
