EDNA MAE JONES (nee LUNEY) September 4, 1926 - July 20, 2013 It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Edna Mae Jones on July 20, 2013 at Park Manor Personal Care Home with her family by her side. Edna was predeceased by her husband Fred Jones, and her brothers Robert, Jock, Bill and sisters Jennie and Doreen. She will be lovingly remembered by her three children Jeff (Kathy, Riley and Carly), Karen (Kaitlyn and Emily), Sheila (Warren, Brandie and Sara), and many nieces and nephews. Edna was born and raised in Transcona. She loved to golf and curl in Transcona with her many friends. Edna loved spending time at her cottage in Hillside Beach where she lived with Fred for 10 years. She loved her Grandchildren and spent many hours cooking and baking for her family. Edna's sense of humour was contagious, she loved to make everyone laugh. We would like to thank Park Manor Personal Care Home for the special care you gave Mom in the four years she lived there, you were her second family. Respecting Mom's wishes a private family gathering will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Edna's name to Park Manor Personal Care Home, 301 Redonda St., Winnipeg, MB R2C 1L7. "We love and miss you Mom and Grandma, time for you to rest.
