So sorry to hear of Robert's passing Gloria. Last time I saw him was at Uncle Benny Puchniak's funeral. Your mom too. Things have certainly changed in a big way with the passing of 3 from your family, and my own mom Angie 4 years ago. Robert was such a cute guy and friendly too - - sorry I will never be able to speak with him again. RIP Robert. - Posted by: Louise Graham (nee McDougall) (grand daughter of Aniela and Wojciech Puchniak (distant cousin) ) on: Aug 07, 2014

Robert - I miss your company, phone calls, drives out to Selkirk and Lockport. You always made me laugh with your stories and you had many. We were always able to talk about anything. I miss you terribly. You will never be forgotten. Love you. - Posted by: Mary-Lou Robert (close friend) on: Aug 12, 2013

"When someone you love becomes a memory, the memory becomes a treasure" You don't realize how much you respect and care about a person until they're gone, I remember getting the call at work and just crying with my mom on the phone, not worrying about what was going on around me or who was watching me breakdown over the phone I hope you know I love you uncle Rob & I won't forget you. Thank you for all the support you have shown Jason & I in our new life together, I know you are proud of us and I thank you so much! I will always treasure our memories together - Posted by: Monique (Great Niece ) on: Aug 07, 2013

In Memory Those we Love remain with us, for Love itself lives on. Cherished memories never fade, because a loved one is gone. Those we Love can never be, more than a thought apart. For as long as there is memory, they'll live on in our hearts. I'll always cherish my memories of you Uncle Rob. I love you, I'll miss you. Rest in Peace ♥ - Posted by: Chantel Champagne (Great Niece) on: Aug 04, 2013

You were such a great man and I loved how you were the most generous and most genuine person ever. I can remember the great conversations we had, you always took a great interest in what was going on in my life and supported all my passions, no matter what they were. You gave me great advice and wisdom and were genuinely so happy to hear how happy I am. I will always remember the strong scent of your cologne, and of course your perfect hair, because it was always perfect! Miss you with all my heart and until I see you again, may you rest happily in heaven and watch over our family. Love you Uncle Rob. - Posted by: Danielle Champagne (Great Niece) on: Aug 03, 2013

Uncle Rob You were not just a uncle, you were like a father and a friend. You were the glue that held this family together, to the bitter end. All I can ask of you today, Is that you watch and guide us all till we meet again. Death leaves us heartache no one can heal, But the love and the memories no one can steal. RIP Uncle Rob Love always Kim and Denis - Posted by: Kim Champagne (niece) on: Aug 03, 2013

Robert, you are the best brother a sister can have and I will miss you as no other. God took you away from me way too soon and I will be so lost without you. Bob was such a nice guy to work with! Last time I saw him was at the Sals on Pembina, a few years ago...I had stopped in for a bite to eat after a doctor's appointment and saw him sitting in a booth. So we were able to catch up on a little news. - Posted by: Joan Kolbauer (co-worker at Goodyear Canada) on: Jul 29, 2013

To Gloria... Of course, you remember me, way back since grade school at Queen Elizabeth. I live in Mississauga now but catch the Free Press obituaries every day. I'm sorry to hear about Robert passing away. I hope you are still keeping well. It has been many years since we saw one another. I wonder if we'd recognize one another. I extend my sincere condolences on your loss. Myron Masnyk - Posted by: Myron Masnyk (Friend - (over 60 years)) on: Jul 27, 2013
