Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryROBERT BENNY JOHNSON It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Robert, loving husband, father, grandfather, on July 12, 2013 with his family by his side. He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years Connie; children Douglas (Heather), Holly (Harold), Ronald (Janet), Brian (Cheri) and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Also brothers Ernest (Gloria), Arnold (Marilyn), Thomas (Judy); sister Janice (Robert) and sister-in-law Laurel. Robert was predeceased by his parents Benedikt and Anna; brothers Edwin, Arthur and Harvey. Bobbie was born in Howardville, Manitoba on January 31, 1937. Bobbie loved hunting, fishing, camping, prospecting and of course spending time with his family. He worked construction all of his life and also owned his own company. Bobbie spent the last 20 years of his life fighting ALS. He fought a long hard battle that ended by taking a kind and loving man. Connie was his rock throughout his struggle and he will be greatly missed by everyone that had the pleasure of knowing him. We would like to extend our sincere thanks to his homecare nurses and the staff at the Riverview Health Centre for the excellent care he received. A celebration of Robert's life will be held on Thursday, August 1 at 2:00 p.m., in the Riverton Community Hall. Private interment will be held at the Riverton Cemetery at 1:30 p.m. Donations can be made to the Riverview Health Center or the Riverton Memorial Rink.
