Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryDAVID ALEXANDER POWELL FRASER August 10, 1929 - July 29, 2013 Peacefully, on Monday, July 29, 2013 at the Grace Hospital, David Fraser, aged 83 years, of Belair, MB, passed away. He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife Irene; daughter Linda McDiarmid; grandson Kelly (Tammy) McDiarmid; great-grandson Jordan McDiarmid and great-granddaughter Kaitlin McDiarmid. He was predeceased by his parents Bruce and Nora; his father and mother-in-law Harry and Sadie Larence; as well as many other relatives and friends. David worked at Canada Wire and Cable for over 30 years, until his retirement. He enjoyed hunting and fishing in his younger years. In his later years he loved spending time with his grandson Kelly and great-grandchildren, Jordan and Kaitlin. A memorial service will be held on Friday, August 2, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. in the Gilbart Funeral Chapel, Selkirk, MB. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Manitoba Lung Association, 629 McDermot Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3A 1P6 or a charity of your choice.
