ALICE MARY VAN DEYNZE (nee DEVOS) Peacefully, with her family, at the Notre Dame Foyer on Saturday, August 3, 2013, Mrs. Alice Van Deynze of Somerset, Manitoba passed away at the age of 93 years. She leaves to mourn her passing six children; Gerard (Evelyn), Doreen (Etienne) Grenier, Denise Cowan, Roland (Estelle), Norbert (Susan) and Karen (Poirier) Van Deynze (Gene); 22 grandchildren, Claudette (Morris), Allen (Tracy), Johanne (David), Marc (Sandra), Michael (Kathy), Lynn (Danny), Debbie (Darin), (Maureen), Loralie (Randy), Deanna (Ryan), Rob (Nadine), Lilly (Harvey), Dave (Terra), Darlene, Christine, Jennifer (Roger), Jason, Jaclyn (Eric), Jody (Paul), Darcy (Melissa), Jamie (Andreas), Kimberly (Craig) and Bradly (Estée); and 41 great-grandchildren. She also leaves to mourn three sisters-in-law, Leona Devos, Zoe Huckle and Gertie Van Deynze, and numerous nieces and nephews, relatives and friends. Alice was predeceased by her husband Emile in 1991; one daughter Suzanne in 1941; one grandson Reynold Grenier in 2007, and one great-granddaughter Sarah Foidart in 2003. Funeral Services will be held in the Our Lady of Nativity Roman Catholic Church in Somerset, MB on Thursday, August 8, 2013. Prayers, Eulogy and Video at 1:30 p.m., Funeral Mass at 2:00 p.m. followed by interment in the Parish Cemetery with Father Armand Le Gal officiating. Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association or to a charity of choice. Adam's Funeral Home of Notre Dame de Lourdes, Manitoba in care of arrangements.
